Yes. You are eligible to be paid out when your unpaid earnings reach a minimum of U.S. $5.
That depends on a few factors, including the type of ad (such as a text ad or a commercial), how popular the video is and what company sold the ad (such as Google's ad sales division or YouTube's ad sales division). You'll be able to log into your own YouTube account and see the information and know exactly how much you are making off of each view.
YouTube has written up a lot of information about their different types of ads. You can read more about them here.

Advertising. Advertisers pay YouTube for ads on videos. YouTube takes a percentage of this ad money and pays out the rest. When YouTube gets paid, so do you.
An ad on a video generates revenue if the text or banner is clicked on or if the whole commercial, or a minimum of 30 seconds of the commercial, is watched.

Claims reports will be provided once Audiam receives them from YouTube
Each month, YouTube reports how much each song made. Audiam bundles the data by month.
On your YouTube Royalty Reports page, you'll see at first just the month and a total for all the songs that earned money that month. Click the month and it takes you to a page that lists every song and how much that song made that month.
You can also click the song name and see every single video that song appeared on, how much it earned from that specific video, how many times it earned during the month, and you'll have a link directly to the video itself! (Coming soon.)
You'll see a payment listed on the Payments page. NOTE: It may take time for the money to reach you, please be patient.
Yes. Some reasons why you might not have been paid:
Don't worry, your money isn't going anywhere it's yours and you'll get it, guaranteed.
We need you to complete your Profile page, your Bank Info page and your Tax Info page. Please fill these out as quickly as possible! Each payment cycle, we'll have a final day you can enter the information. If you fill out those forms afterwards, you'll have to wait for the next payment cycle.
Once you enter your information, you don't need to enter it again, and you will be automatically included in the next payment cycle.
Cut-off days vary by payment cycle.
We'll notify all potential payees by email what the cut-off is for each payment cycle.
Your money stays in your account.
As soon as you get us the required banking, address and tax information we need and accumulate more than U.S. $5, you'll get a payment on the next payment cycle.
Audiam gets very detailed reports from YouTube, and we show all that detail to you. That means payments down to the 1/100,000th of a penny!
We only round to the payment cycle. That is, all digits are preserved right up to the point of summing your entire royalty report. Only then is the grand total rounded to the nearest penny (half-cents round up, under half-cents round down).
MINT is a third party company that Audiam has hired to administer money to you.

Audiam will hold onto your money until you provide the required information to pay you and then pay you what you are owed.
Audiam must have ALL of the required information BEFORE the royalty payment date or you won't get paid. Instead, your payment will come in the following payment cycle, provided you qualify (i.e. you need to have earned at least a total of U.S. $5).
You should receive your money 7 to 14 business days after it is paid out. Time varies based on your own bank policies and other factors.
We're required by law to collect the information and send out year-end tax forms.
Your earnings will be held until we get this information. Reach out to your government for instructions on obtaining either a Social Security Number (in the U.S.), a Social Insurance Number (in Canada) or a business/corporation tax identification number (any country).

Each time your song is played on YouTube, Spotify, Google Play, Rhapsody, Beats, Amazon Prime and other digital music services, you are owed a separate royalty for the lyric and melody (called a "Composition").
In some cases, this money has never been paid to you. In other cases only a portion of your money has been paid out. In addition, there is new money being generated each time your song is played.
Audiam gets you this money.
Audiam gets you paid from views of videos on YouTube that are using your music.
It does this via its own technology and a special YouTube business contract. This contract allows Audiam to systemically deliver information to YouTube indicating who owns the rights to your music and which recordings are recordings of your songs. We also fix bad data in the YouTube system that has the wrong entity listed as "owning" your music.
We then police your copyrights to insure the YouTube system always shows and pays you as the owner.
Finally, Audiam uses its own technology and YouTube’s systems to finds videos on YouTube using your music without a license. When we find the videos, we authorize YouTube to place ads on them. With the right data in the YouTube system, you get back your portion of the advertising money.

See how it works
As the creator of the lyrics and melody of a song (the “composition”) you are owed a separate payment IN ADDITION to the money you may already be receiving.
In almost every case, every time a song that you wrote is played anywhere in the world on Spotify, Rhapsody, Beats, Mog, GooglePlay, Deezer, or any other "on-demand" service, that service owes and must pay you (not your distributor, not your label - YOU) a Mechanical Royalty.
In many cases this money is not reaching you or it may be paid to the wrong entity due to bad data or missing information.
In other cases, there are recordings of your songs that have not been mapped to your composition. This also stops you from getting paid. Audiam fixes these problems and gets you paid your past and future money from:
...and other digital uses.
It costs nothing to hire us to work for you. Audiam only gets paid an administrative fee when we find, collect and administer to you the money you are owed.
To put Audiam to work for you, you only have to control the copyrights to your music.
